  Probably one of the coolest places I've been to in Wisconsin. Old hunting cabin converted into a bar converted into a restaurant. Looks like alot of the original structure is still there. Beautiful to wander around. Food was absolutely delicious. Be prepared for a wait- it's a happening spot. Truly in the middle of the woods so don't worry your GPS isn't steering you wrong.

  The food is good. BUT our server was terrible. She never refilled our drinks and was no where to be seen during our visit. She didn't even introduce herself. Also, the dining room was FREEZING. People around us had their gloves and hats one. I ended up putting my coat back on, even after a few drinks. Food is good but service was awful. I even contacted the restaurant and I got one email back but got no support that would even make me consider coming back. Sad for a place that has so much potential.

  We went for the fish fry last night. To ensure we would not have to wait we made a 7 pm reservation. Even arriving 5 minutes early and having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes to be seated. We ordered quickly, 2 fish frys, 1 appetizer, 1 drink and 1 water. We waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer, which our server had to check on. All the while tables around us were being seated, orders taken, and being served quickly. At 8 pm our server stated she was checking on our meal. At 823pm our server told us the kitchen was behind. Two tables that were seated after us had eaten and left. Our food arrived at about 835 pm. The quality seems to have gone down. My husband thought his fish was rubbery and mine was cold. A positive was the French fries were great ! Needless to say, we left for home at 920 pm.

  Wonderful atmosphere, reminds me of the supper clubs of old. Beautiful fireplace in the main dining room makes it cozy in winter. With the "Buy one entree, get one free" deal they have daily, the place can get very busy during early evening hours. Great food, I've been going there for years and never had a bad meal. Ask to see the dessert tray if you are going all out, you won't regret it with the Peanut Butter Pie. They also have live entertainment on the weekends in their basement bar. The only bad thing I can say is, it can be kind of loud sometimes, not always, just when the band and the bar get jammin'. All in all, a great place to go for a casual dinner!
